Adrian Bio

Adrian is a Physiotherapist and Certified Health Executive with over 15 years of progressive clinical and leadership experience in acute and continuing care. As the Executive Director, Health Services – Continuing Care at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, he leads a multidisciplinary team responsible for Long-Term Care and Rehabilitation, Healthy Aging, and Seniors Care.

With a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy from the University of Manitoba and a Master’s degree in Health Management from McMaster University, Adrian combines academic excellence with practical expertise. As a mentor through the Canadian College of Health Leaders and a former instructor in health services leadership at the College of Rehabilitation Sciences and RRC Polytech, he helps emerging leaders grow their careers.

A compassionate and transformational leader, Adrian has led large health system changes including the establishment of minimum allied health staffing models so that people have equitable access to the services they rely on. Recently, Adrian became the Provincial Lead for the Philippines Recruitment Initiative at Shared Health. In this capacity, he provides oversight to ensure that Internationally Educated Nurses recruited from the Philippines are supported in every step of their newcomer journey to Manitoba.

 

Gina Trinidad, BA, BN, MN, RN

Gina Trinidad has worked in healthcare for over two decades from the front-lines to executive leadership, overseeing large-scale operations. Her leadership has been instrumental in managing transformational initiatives in the health system both at the regional and provincial levels in Manitoba. As a senior leader in the healthcare system, Gina has served her community with unparalleled commitment and dedication. A Registered Nurse by profession, Gina is a firm believer in lifelong learning and has achieved certification in lean management and coaching for improvement. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Health Systems Leadership from the Royal Roads University and is now pursuing a PhD in Nursing. With many years in health care administration, Gina’s leadership approach is firmly planted on core values of service, success and integrity, with a keen eye on ensuring excellence in care for health consumers. Most recently, the Manitoba Government engaged Gina’s leadership with a recruitment mission in the Philippines, that resulted in over 300 health care providers making Manitoba their new future home. Gina’s experience and expertise in the area of global recruitment, retention and clinical training serves a critical area of need across health care systems.
